The defending Ontario Conference champion Hamilton Hurricanes open up Main Camp today with a slightly different purpose.

After pounding the Windsor AKO Fratmen in last year’s Conference title game the Hurricanes are no longer the hunter, but now the hunted.  All season they will be playing with a target on their back.

To make the season extra special the Hurricanes will play in a pair of CJFL Interconference games when they host the Regina Thunder on August 27th then travel to Edmonton to face the Wildcats on September 23rd.   Plus with the Canadian Bowl in Ontario in November, this season is shaping up to be an exciting one.

Hurricanes head coach Jason Hayes speaks with Ryan Watters about camp and the upcoming season.
