Last season the Regina Thunder were one point away from advancing to the Prairie Conference final game as the #4 seed and knocking off the defending champion Saskatoon Hilltops. But they missed a 36 yard field goal with under two minutes to go in the semi-final and fell 25-24.

It's a brand new season and the three-time defending champion Hilltops will visit the Thunder and play in the new Mosaic Stadium on Saturday night in the Prairie Conference Game of the Week.
