Offensive Player of the Week
RB Joshua Ewanchyna – Saskatoon Hilltops

Without arguably their best running back, Logan Fischer in the line-up the Hilltops running attack didn’t miss a beat on Sunday with Joshua Ewanchyna.  The true rookie carried 18 times for 179 yards and scored three touchdowns helping the Toppers gain 609 yards of total offence.

Defensive Player of the Week
LB Paul Toth – Regina Thunder

Defence wins championships as well as individual games and the Regina Thunder are showing they are a championship caliber team. This past weekend the Thunder again dominated the Rifles offence led by linebacker Paul Toth.  The veteran collected five tackles and assisted on four others.

Special Teams Player of the Week
K Stephan Fabian – Calgary Colts

The Colts continue to role as the nation’s #1 team.  Kicker Stephan Fabian was outstanding in their home victory connecting on a pair of field goals and all four converts.  He also collected seven punts, averaging 40 yards a boot and six kick-offs.
