A snap shot of the three match-ups this weekend

Edmonton Wildcats @ Winnipeg Rifles – Saturday August 20, 7:00pm – Investors Group Field – WATCH HERE

Last season the Rifles swept the Wildcats, but won both games by a total of six points.  In their meeting in Winnipeg the Rifles won 35-32, then two weeks later in Edmonton again won by just three points 36-33.  This weekend should also be a very close game as both teams are looking for their first win.

Last season the Hilltops and Huskies met just once in Saskatoon where the champs blasted the visitors 49-17.  The last time these two teams met in Edmonton was in 2014 with the Hilltops winning 68-17.  Quarterback Jared Andreychuk threw four touchdown passes and 260 yards.

It’s the PFC Game of the Week and a rematch of last season’s Canadian Bowl quarterfinal, which the Colts won on the road.  Last year in the regular season the Thunder beat the Colts 30-20 in Calgary outscoring them 16-7 in the second half.  Both teams will look to stay undefeated.
