The CJFL is proud the announce the 2023 Second Team Defensive All-Canadians.

Defensive Line

Cody McMahon – Westshore Rebels – 9 sacks, 7 tackles, 5 assisted tackles, 1 fumble recovery

Carl Fabre – St. Clair Saints - 16 tackles, 8 sacks, 10 assisted tackles

Evan Nolli – Langley Rams – 33 tackles, 8 assisted tackles, 5 sacks, 1 blocked kick, 1 knockdown, 1 fumble recovery

Payton O’Connor – Regina Thunder - 9 tackles, 3 assisted tackles, 1 knockdown, 1 forced fumble, 1 fumble recovery

Linebackers

Matt Wist – Saskatoon Hilltops - 22 tackles, 17 assisted tackles, 6 sacks, 3 interceptions, 1 for a touchdown, 2 knockdowns, 2 forced fumbles

Zachary Chaddock – Hamilton Hurricanes - he had 28 tackles, 5 sacks, 2 forced fumbles, 2 fumble recoveries, 1 knockdown, 6 assisted tackles

Jaiden Claassen – Valley Huskers – 44 tackles, 29 assisted tackles, 7 sacks, 1 interception

Defensive Backs

Dalton Urban – Saskatoon Hilltops - 5 interceptions, 12 tackles, 3 assisted tackles, 1 knockdown, 1 fumble recovery for a touchdown

Sam Kolkman – Edmonton Huskies - 7 interceptions, 20 tackles, 4 assisted tackles, 1 forced fumble

Keagan Curtis – Kamloops Broncos – 5 interceptions, 23 tackles, 5 assisted tackles, 6 knockdowns

Felix Ofori – GTA Grizzlies - 34 tackles, 1 sack, 1 knockdown, 1 interception, 6 assisted tackles

Kyle Huish – Langley Rams – 19 tackles, 1 sack, 5 interceptions, 3 knockdowns

PUNTER

Malcolm Cameron – Langley Rams – 35 punts, averaging 39.3 net yards and 1 single

The Second Team Offensive All-Canadians will be unveiled on Tuesday November 7th.
