Offensive Line

Xavier Venkataya – Westshore Rebels
Camauri Barney – Westshore Rebels

Receivers

Colton Meikle – Kamloops Broncos – (second consecutive season) – 39 receptions for 598 yards and 7 touchdowns

Isaiah Woodley – Regina Thunder – (second consecutive season) - 41 receptions for 677 yards and 5 touchdowns

Cairo Berry – Westshore Rebels – 41 receptions for 526 yards and 18 touchdowns

Marcus Lynch – Ottawa Sooners - he led the Ontario Conference with 39 receptions and 628 yards while scoring four touchdowns

Running Backs

Ryland Leichert – Regina Thunder - 152 carries for 1017 yards and 8 touchdowns

Gerren Hardisty – Westshore Rebels – 108 carries for 1084 yards and 13 touchdowns

Quarterback

Maurice Sodja – St. Clair Saints - he completed over 60% of his passes this year and threw for 898 yards. He completed 44 passes and struck for 11 touchdowns with a pass efficiency rating of 142.

Place Kicker

Jad Olleik – Ottawa Sooners - he connected on 12 field goals including a Conference long 51 yarder.  He was also a perfect 29-29 in converts

Return Specialist

Nick Szigeti – Quinte Skyhawks – 49 kick returns for 969 yards, averaging 19.7 yards a return and 1 touchdown 

The FirstTeam Defensive All-Canadians will be unveiled on Wednesday November 8th.

The CJFL is proud to announce the Week 12 Players of the Week following four playoff games and three regular season finales.

Offensive Players of the Week

BC Conference
RB Cam Grzegorczyk – Kamloops Broncos
He saved his best for last.  Running back Cam Grzegorczyk had an incredible game running the football in his regular season finale on Saturday night.  He torched the Prince George defence carrying the rock 34 times for 236 yards and scored three touchdowns. 

Ontario Conference
RB Geoff Clubine – London Beefeaters
Showing that he is equal to his all-star teammate in the backfield, Geoff Clubine gave the Hurricanes defense fits all game long in the Beefeaters’ statement win over Hamilton.  Clubine blasted his way to 216 yards on only 11 carries and had two touchdowns.  His longest carry being an 89-yard rushing touchdown early in the game that opened the flood gates.

Prairie Conference (tie)
RB Boston Davidsen & RB Charles Sawi – Saskatoon Hilltops
In their convincing semi-final win the Hilltops primarily used the ground game and two running backs were featured almost equally.  Boston Davidsen rushed 23 times for 132 yards and had two touchdowns while teammate Charles Sawi added 127 yards on 12 carries and scored a major.

Defensive Players of the Week

BC Conference
LB Demar Hohnstein - Westshore Rebels
He was a dominating force once again for the Rebels defence that has given the opposition a migraine all year.  Demar Hohnstein forces teams to go the other way but still managed a sack, an interception, 2.5 tackles and a knockdown in their shutout of the VI Raiders last weekend. 

Ontario Conference 
LB Matt Smith – London Beefeaters
Turning in his most impressive performance of the season, Matt Smith was making plays all over the field as he totaled nine tackles including two for a loss.  He also had a sack and knocked down a pass for 20 defensive points as he led the Beefeaters defense in stifling the Hamilton offense.

Prairie Conference (tie)
LB Matt Wist – Saskatoon Hilltops
Just like the regular season Matt Wist led the Hilltops defence in their first playoff game.  He tallied five tackles, had six assisted stops and picked off a pass as he and the Hilltops defence shutout the Colts offence. 

LB Tristan Price – Edmonton Huskies
Despite the loss in Regina, the Huskies defence played well led by Tristan Price.  He had six tackles, five of them for a loss, a sack, an interception and a knockdown along with five assisted tackles. 

Special Teams Players of the Week

BC Conference
PK Liam Attwood – Okanagan Sun
The Sun needed a complete game on the weekend which included Special Teams and kicker Liam Attwood did his part.  He booted three field goals and was a perfect 5-5 in converts recording 14 points scored.

Ontario Conference
PK Preston Knight – St. Clair Saints
Playing in the car wash known as Acumen Stadium, Preston Knight proved clutch for the Saints.  In a tight game where neither defense gave up much special teams proved to be the difference and Knight delivered a perfect performance as he connected on all five of his field goal attempts and both converts in the driving wind and rain accounting for 17 of the Saints 29 points.

Prairie Conference
PK Teijon Abel-Douglas – Saskatoon Hilltops
In a Hilltops Player of the Week sweep Abel-Douglas booted three field goals, his longest 46 yards which is the longest in the Conference this season.  He was also a perfect 6-6 in converts and recorded seven kick-offs for 326 yards.
