Keagan The Thief

In his first two CJFL seasons with the Kamloops Broncos, safety Keagan Curtis has an incredible 15 interceptions!  As a rookie in 2022 he stole a mind-blowing nine picks and was named the BC Conference Defensive Rookie of the Year. 

Here in 2024, Curtis enters his third season with the Broncos and is hoping to lead his club back to the playoffs after finishing 2-8 last season.  Individually he had a great campaign last year with 23 tackles, five interceptions and six knockdowns. 

He visits with Ryan Watters to talk about the offseason, how he defends from his safety position in a game situation and his preparation for this coming season. 
 

Quest For Cullen Begins

The BC Conference announces their 2024 schedule

The CJFL and BC Conference (BCFC) are proud to announce their 2024 regular season schedule that will see the seven-member Conference open play on Saturday July 20th with a full slate of games.

The defending Cullen Cup champion Westshore Rebels will open their title defence on the road when they visit the Kamloops Broncos at 7:00pm.  Earlier in the day the VI Raiders will travel to Prince George for date with the Kodiaks then the Langley Rams welcome the Okanagan Sun that night. 

The teams will play a 10-game regular season schedule concluding on October 5th.  The Conference playoffs will open the following weekend with a pair of semi-finals before the Conference final Cullen Cup game scheduled for Saturday October 19th. 

The winner of the Cullen Cup will travel to the winner of the Prairie Conference for the CJFL National Semi-Final game the following week.  The winner of that game will head to Ontario for the 2024 Canadian Bowl on November 9th.
