St Clair Fratmen 47
Hamilton Hurricanes 7

The Fratmen machine continues to roll in the Ontario Conference gaining another 518 yards of total offence with a very balanced attack.   Quarterback Michael Beale was simply outstanding completing 16 of 20 passes for 228 yards and another four touchdowns giving him 20 on the season.  He would find Cody Holmes for a pair of scores and both Jared Hayes-Williams and Dante Lewis for one each.

On the ground Jacob Savoni chewed up 196 yards on 24 carries and scored a pair of touchdowns.

Defensively they forced five Hurricane turnovers including four interceptions; three by Nathaniel Norton.  The other by Jake Holloway who also had four solo tackles.

The lone Hurricanes touchdown was a fourth quarter 12-yard strike from quarterback Ethan Belbeck who found Devante Hudson for the score.

This coming weekend the Fratmen (6-0) will enjoy a bye week while the Hurricanes (3-2) visit the GTA Grizzlies (0-6) on Sunday.

Quinte Skyhawks 20
GTA Grizzlies 12

With the win the Skyhawks clinch a playoff spot in just their first season in the CJFL.  Quarterback Carter Stephen completed 16 passes for 270 yards and found Jacob Grimes and Tristan Gilbert-Thibault for touchdowns to lead the charge.
Over on special teams Connor Rafferty connected on a pair of field goals, including one of 50 yards.

Defensively the Skyhawks held the Grizzlies to just 100 yards of total offence forcing seven turnovers.   Both John Corscadden and Tayjai Lytle had interceptions while Corscadden and Rafferty recovered a fumble.

The Grizzlies had difficulty moving the ball and their lone touchdown was a fourth quarter 19-yard pass to Cameron Hoekstra from quarterback Ryan Boyd.

This Saturday the Skyhawks (2-5) will wrap up their first regular season when they visit the London Beefeaters (4-2) while the Grizzlies (0-6) host the Hamilton Hurricanes (3-2) on Sunday.
