CJFL Partnership Opportunities

The Canadian Junior Football League has a proud history that dates back to 1908 when the first junior championship game was contested in Montreal between Toronto and Montreal. The Canadian Junior Football League currently has 18 teams stretching from British Columbia to Ontario and has continued to develop players for the next levels of competitive play, including the Canadian Football League and National Football League. The culmination of each CJFL season comes with the Canadian Bowl championship each November.

The Canadian Junior Football League’s formal mission statement reads:

“The Canadian Junior Football League provides the opportunity for young men aged 17 to 22 to participate in highly competitive post-high school football that is unique in Canada. The goal of the league is to foster community involvement and yield a positive environment by teaching discipline, perseverance and cooperation. The benefits of the league are strong camaraderie, national competition and life-long friends.”

The 2016 CJFL Canadian Bowl was played at Westhills Stadium in Westshore, BC in front of 2,500 fans. The Saskatoon Hilltops defeated the Westshore Rebels to claim their third straight CJFL Canadian Bowl
