The Rams used a 20 point second half to secure a berth in the BC Conference Cullen Cup championship game for the first time since 2014.

The offence collected 517 total yards most of which through the air.  Quarterback Tristan Yanciw finished 12 of 23 for 415 yards and threw four touchdown passes. Jevon Cottoy set a new CJFL playoff record hauling in all four touchdown passes.  He caught seven passes in total for 246 yards.

On the ground Joseph Carter rushed 16 times for 110 yards.

The Rams defence was dominant holding down the Raiders high powered offence.  They were led by Anthony Blackwell who had a game high 12 solo tackles, which sets a BC Conference record for most tackles in a playoff game.  It’s also second most in CJFL history.  Kyle Clarot picked off a pass and Cameron Cross had the lone sack.

The Raiders offence was frustrated by the swarming defence of the Rams.  Quarterback Jacob Laberge finished 14 of 34 for 178 yards and threw a pair of touchdown passes finding North Rainey and Jared Braun.    Running back Rhett Williams carried the rock 22 times for 103 yards.

Defensively they forced four turnovers.  Doyle Westlund recovered two fumbles and Shawn Arabsky picked off a pass.

The Rams will now play for the BC Conference Cullen Cup on Sunday at 1:00pm when they visit the Okanagan Sun while the Raiders season comes to a close.
