The Huskies beat the Thunder on Sunday

It was the lone game in the Prairie Conference this weekend as the four other teams enjoyed a bye week.

The Huskies got a measure of revenge on Sunday after a home loss to the Thunder last weekend and in the process tallied 479 yards of total offence.

Quarterback Tommy Yanchuk completed 16 of 32 passes for 215 yards and connected with Adner St. Hillaire for a touchdown.  He also had a rushing touchdown on four carries.
Brandt Burzuk was simply outstanding on the ground rushing 19 times for 169 yards and had a touchdown.

The Huskies defence forced two interceptions while Oshane Samuels had a team high seven solo tackles.

The Thunder scored 14 of their 17 points in the second quarter.  Quarterback Brock Sich completed 14 passes for 172 yards and connected on a pair of touchdowns finding DeShawn Le Jour and Greg Lamb.

On the ground Brayden Long carried a game high 22 times for 105 yards.

Next week both the Huskies (3-1) and Thunder (2-2) will enjoy a bye week.
