One of the most heated rivalries in the BC Conference is on Vancouver Island when the VI Raiders meet the Westshore Rebels.

Chapter one of the latest version of this storied rivalry is set for Saturday night at Westhills Stadium. The Raiders are coming off an incredible fourth quarter comeback win last week over Langley and the Rebels haven’t played since Week 2.  Their game was cancelled last weekend in Kamloops due to the poor air quality resulting from the numerous wildfires burning in BC.  

This week the Rebels will be without their head coach as Charly Cardilicchia has been suspended by the BC Conference following remarks he made after their game was cancelled last week.
