The VI Raiders moved to Nanaimo prior to the 2005 season and quickly became one of the powerhouses across the CJFL.

In just their second season (2006) they hosted and captured their first of three CJFL Canadian Bowl titles.  They would then return to the national final in 2008 winning in Burlington, then hosted the Canadian Bowl again in 2009 and won beating the Edmonton Wildcats.

Over the years a number of star players have worn the red and black of the Raiders who have all contributed to their success.  They have named their top 25 alumni just ahead of their alumni weekend and huge match-up with the Langley Rams.  Head coach Matt Snoop Blokker makes his return to Caledonia Park and will no doubt be surrounded by a number of familiar faces.
