The Canadian Junior Football League (CJFL) is pleased to announce that its teams will utilize the PrivIT online system to manage health related information beginning with the upcoming 2018 season. Implementation of this technology allows the CJFL to continue to be a leader and advocate for improved health and safety of its athletes.
“The health & safety of our athletes is a priority and PrivIT will provide our teams and players improved capabilities to access and manage personal health information,” said Randy O’Shaughnessy, Chair CJFL Health & Safety Committee.
“PrivIT, welcomes the CJFL to its network of customers that include both professional and amateur sporting associations,” stated Johnny Chehade, Director of Canadian Sales at PrivIT Inc. “PrivIT’s platform for collecting health information allows parents, athletes and trainers to review, renew and update the information through out the year. This process ensures medical respondents react quickly and correctly to medical emergency situations. PrivIT Sideline App permits team officials, using a hand-held device, to immediately access a player’s health data including special medical conditions. PrivIT profile helps to guide injury protocols and emergency actions plans,” said Mr. Chehade.
The CJFL opens play this weekend in the BC Conference.
