The Kamloops Broncos are itching to get back to the playoffs, a place they have not been since 2015.
They open the season on Sunday when they host the Okanagan Sun in a battle for the BC Interior. The Broncos will be have a new signal caller under centre following the departure of former CJFL Rookie of the Year Colby Henkel.
Head Coach Brad Yamaoka is the longest serving head coach in the BC Conference as he enters his fourth season. He is hoping this is the year the Broncos battle for a playoff spot and make some noise each week. He speaks with Ryan Watters about the preparation for the 2018 season.
