An exciting week is about to unfold for our Football Canada national teams as they prepare to compete at the 2018 International Bowl.

It all begins on Wednesday January 17th when both Under-16 squads will be participating in a pair of jamborees against the United States and Mexico at Mavericks Stadium. Then the Under-18 team will tackle the United States Under-18 squad that same day at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

Finally, the conclusion of the 2018 International Bowl is the highly anticipated game between National Under-19 team and the United States National Team which will take place on Friday and highlight a CJFL running back.  Ottawa Sooners rusher John-Paul Cimankinda carried the ball 51 times last year for 345 yards and three touchdowns and will be in the backfield for Team Canada on Friday.

This battle is also a tune up for the IFAF World Junior Championships and potentially a possible preview of the gold medal game between the two squads.  The game begins at 8:00pm UTC/9:00pm EST.  It will be streamed on ESPN3 as well as through YouTube, via USA Football.  It will be accessible through Football Canada's website HERE.
