It was a heck of a finish as the Beefeaters scored 13 points in the final quarter to comeback and beat the Sooners on Saturday night.

Quarterback Clarke McCallum accounted for three touchdowns.  He scored two on the ground including the game winner and also found Mark Devlin through the air for a major.  He finished with 14 completions for 140 yards.

The Beefeaters defence also made some big plays, none bigger than the 60 yard pick six turned in by Quinn Johnson.  Julius Ochmann also had a pick.

The Sooners did most of their damage through the air.  Dylan Kazda and Torai Hibbert each hauled in touchdown passes.  Quarterbacks Evan Yourth and Tyler Scott combined for 299 yards on 20 completions.

Their defence recorded five sacks from five different players.

This coming weekend the Beefeaters (5-2) will travel to Windsor to face the AKO Fratmen (6-1) while the Sooners (2-5) will fight for their playoff lives when they host the GTA Grizzlies (1-6).  The winner will claim the fourth Ontario playoff berth.
