They are the best of the best in Week 3

Offensive Player of the Week
WR Mike West – Valley Huskers

The Valley Huskers showed the rest of the CJFL a glimpse of their talent in 2016, playing a solid road game against the VI Raiders.  Their offence was able to move the ball on a very good defence and receiver Mike West was a big part of that.  He caught nine passes for 173 yards and had a pair of touchdowns including a 103 yard bomb.

Defensive Player of the Week
DL Kent Hicks – Westshore Rebels

For the third straight week a Rebels defender has been named the Defensive Player of the Week.  Kent Hicks was a one man wrecking crew at times in the Rebels loss to the Okanagan Sun.  He finished a highly physical match-up with five solo tackles, one assist and collected the Rebels lone sack.

Special Teams Player of the Week
K – Tiernan Docherty – Langley Rams

For the second straight week Tiernan Docherty blasted a 50 yard field goal in a Rams lopsided win.  He also was perfect on all three field goals and all six convert attempts.  The former SFU Clansmen tallied five punts for an average of 42.5 yards.  Docherty is named the Special Teams Player of the Week for the second straight week.
