This Thursday night a former CJFL kicker is hoping to make his CFL debut as the Saskatchewan Roughriders host the Toronto Argos.

Former Westshore Rebel Quinn Van Gylswyk who last kicked in the CJFL in 2012 was selected 26th overall earlier this month in the CFL Draft by the Riders following his Vanier Cup winning season with UBC.  He took part in their main camp and won a roster spot as the Riders season opens this Thursday at home.

He spoke with Ryan Watters about expectations for this year in his first season as a pro and how he found out how he was drafted.
