Windsor AKO host the London Beefeaters

The Defending Champions may have started the 2014 season off with a loss on the road, but ended the regular season with a 7-1 record and first place in the OFC and home field advantage for the playoffs. Windsor AKO will host the 4-4 London Beefeaters for the first round of play offs as they look to take their second straight championship.

The rivalry between the Beefeaters and AKO has grown and the emotions are flying due to there past meeting in London in week 9. The London Beefeaters took control of the game early and managed to shut down the Fratmen offense completely. Although they earned the win in week 9, the Fratmen would be granted a 1-0 win due to an ineligible player on the London side.  It was their second meeting of the season, as they met earlier at Windsor Stadium.

The first meeting was back in week 4 where the Fratmen ended the game with a 27-14 final. London didn’t manage to get on the board until just before the half with a touchdown from Christian Ridley. AKO’s touchdowns came from Austin Lumley, Cody McCann, and Demetrious Kah.

Last Championships:
AKO Fratmen: 2013 over Hamilton
London Beefeaters: 2012 over Hamilton

Kick off is at 7pm at Windsor Stadium. The game will also be aired live at
