The 2025 season was another successful one for the Westshore Rebels despite not reaching their ultimate goal of reaching the Canadian Bowl.

They won seven games during the regular season and hosted and won a playoff game before falling in the BC Conference Cullen Cup championship.  Several players had standout seasons including receiver Zion Brown, tying a CJFL record with 18 touchdown receptions, quarterback Gavin Session tossed 28 touchdown pass and 2806 yards, and Cameron Coan was tied for the CJFL lead with seven interceptions.

Following the season they do graduate seven players, many of them in key positions, leaving behind big cleats to fill.

OL Quintin Harry brought veteran leadership, strength and technique to Westshore for his only CJFL season after playing three years with the York University.  He anchored that offensive line, allowing Session to look down field.

DL PJ Hudson played out his CJFL career in 2025 and finished his second season with 10 solo tackles, two assists, a sack and a knockdown.

DB Bronson Pheiffer made a massive difference in the Rebels secondary during his CJFL career and was a shutdown defensive back.  In his final junior football season, he made 35 solo tackles, had nine assists, a knockdown, two interceptions, returning one for a touchdown.

REC/KR Tristan Remus-Arevalo (pictured) leaves behind a big hole as a multi-dimensional threat.  He is an excellent route runner and was terrific with yards after the catch.  In 2025 he made 25 receptions for 411 yards, averaging over 16 yards a catch and hauled in three touchdowns.  He can also return kicks collecting 25 during the regular season averaging over 16 yards a return.

QB Gavin Session was simply awesome in 2025, his only CJFL season.  The Rebels built their offence around him and he more than delivered completing 68% of his passes, with a Conference high 193 and 28 touchdowns for 2802 yards and had a passer efficiency rating of 119.5%.  He also scored five more touchdowns with his legs on 36 carries and 197 yards.

OL Xavier Venkataya was an important part to the Rebels offence last season joining club after spending time with Dakota State University.  His pass protection ability allowed Session the time to look down field or use his legs to keep drives alive.

RB Ryan Vincent was a very effective piece to the Rebels offence last year whether that was in blocking for the run game, setting up as a pass blocker or carrying the rock for important yards.  He finished the year with two touchdowns on 40 carries and 199 yards.  He also leaked out of the backfield on a screen pass, making six receptions, averaging almost 10 yards a catch.

The CJFL wishes these Rebels graduates best of luck in their next chapter.
