The Edmonton Huskies are proud to share exciting updates to our coaching staff as we look ahead to the 2025 football season!
After years of dedicated leadership, head coach Jeff Tobert has informed the board of directors of his decision to step down from his position. His impact on the Huskies has been profound, guiding the team with passion, expertise, and an unwavering commitment to excellence.
The Huskies are thrilled that Jeff will remain with the Huskies in a new role, continuing to share his knowledge and love for the game.
Following that announcement, the Huskies are delighted to name that Marshall Klein will step into the role of head coach of the Edmonton Huskies!
Coach Klein has been a cornerstone of their team, transforming the offensive line into one of the best in the league and helping young athletes excel at both the CJFL and U-Sports levels. His leadership, dedication, and passion for the game make him the perfect choice to carry the team's legacy forward.
With a coaching philosophy centered on accountability, discipline, and relentless recruiting, and a track record of success at the high school, junior, and university levels, Coach Klein is ready to lead the Huskies back to national prominence.
The team would like to express their deepest gratitude to Coach Tobert for his outstanding contributions and in celebrating Coach Klein as he begins this exciting new chapter with the Huskies.
