Three important finals in the BC Conference on Saturday with only one regular season week to go.

Okanagan Sun 60
Valley Huskers 14

The big story of this game came from running back Elelyon Noa who set a new Conference rushing record, adding on another 207 yards on 33 carries and scored four more touchdowns.  He finishes the regular season with 1612 yards and 23 rushing touchdowns.

The Sun end the regular season with a perfect 10-0 record and now will have a bye week to prepare for the Canadian Bowl playoffs in which they have homefield advantage.

Saturday afternoon along with the run game, the Sun Special Teams had a major impact on the game as well returning three punts for touchdowns.  Gage Parker returned two of those punts for majors, while Jordayne Falconer returned the other 102-yards for the score.  Kicker Liam Attwood added to the special teams scoring as well with a 21-yard field goal and eight converts.

Defensively the Sun held the Huskers to 50 yards on the ground and forced five turnovers. George Yobo blocked a kick, recovered it and had a sack to lead the way.

The Sun (10-0) enjoy the bye before the playoffs next week and the Huskers (5-4) visit the VI Raiders (3-6) to conclude the regular season.

VI Raiders 43
Westshore Rebels 11

The Raiders played an outstanding road game, highlighted by scoring 26 points in the second quarter to upset the Rebels putting a huge strain on their hopes for a home playoff game.

Quarterback Sadler Smith completed 19 passes for 254 yards, threw three touchdowns and ran for two others in the victory.  He hit Ruben Bonsu, Blaze McCarty and Parker Moscrip for majors to complement his two short touchdown runs.

Their defence got them on the board as well in the second quarter.  Olamide Adegbite forced a fumble when he sacked the quarterback and as the ball bounced towards the endzone, teammate Daniel Obinkwo jumped on it for a touchdown.  In all, the Raiders had four sacks and forced six turnovers.

The Rebels were able to move the ball, however their 24 penalties hurt them from finishing a drive with a touchdown.

Their lone major in the ball game was a weird one.  After missing a field goal, Raiders returner Savion Townsend fumbled on the goal line, which was recovered by Myles McPherson for the touchdown.

Next week the Raiders (3-6) welcome the Valley Huskers (5-4) hoping to play spoiler again and the Rebels (5-4) visit the Langley Rams (6-3) with a chance to still claim a home playoff date.

Prince George Kodiaks 23
Kamloops Broncos 21

Plenty of offence on Saturday night in Prince George as the teams combined for 968 yards as the Kodiaks held on for their second win of the season, snapping their seven-game slide.

Through the air quarterback Sawyer Theissen completed 20 passes for 294 yards and had a touchdown pass to Brayden Van Someren.  Theissen also rushed for a touchdown in the second quarter.

Kicker Brady Harper was also an important part of the scoring, nailing all three field goal attempts and both converts.

The Broncos scored 14 of their 21 points in the second half and came up just two points short of coming all the way back.   Quarterback Ryan Petersen threw for a pair of touchdowns, finding both Brock Dufort and Coltin Peterson.

Running back Corey Jeeves tallied the other touchdown for the visiting Broncos.

Next week the scene shifts to Kamloops when the Broncos (1-8) host the Kodiaks (2-7) as both teams finish up the season.
