A full slate of games across the country will kick-off this weekend as the CJFL moves into Week 11 of the regular season.

SATURDAY SEPEMTBER 28


BC Conference 


Valley Huskers @ Okanagan Sun - Saturday September 28, 4:00pm – Apple Bowl | WATCH HERE

It’s a possible playoff preview as the Sun host the Huskers on Saturday afternoon.  The Sun have clinched first place in the standings and play their final regular season home game looking to remain undefeated.  They shutout the Huskers on August 3rd in Chilliwack 26-0, one of three shutouts this season.  The Huskers have won three straight and still have another game on the road next weekend.  They are currently tied with Westshore for third in the standings.  With two wins and some help there is still an outside chance they could finish second.

Kamloops Broncos @ Prince George Kodiaks – Saturday September 28, 6:00pm – Masich Stadium | WATCH HERE

A pair of teams with identical records will finish the season with a home-and-home, the first in Prince George.   The last time the Broncos were in PG they claimed a 43-27 victory, their lone win of the year.  Since that game they have lost three straight.  The Kodiaks are coming off a bye week and have lost seven in a row.  The Kodiaks will wear gorgeous Lheidli T’enneh jerseys for their second annual Truth & Reconciliation game.

VI Raiders @ Westshore Rebels – Saturday September 28, 7:00pm – Starlight Stadium | WATCH HERE

It’s the final installment of the Island rivalry battle in 2024 between the Rebels and Raiders.  The Rebels have won the previous two meeting outscoring their counterparts 97-14.  This is also final home game of regular season for the Rebels and are still in the running for a home playoff date.  They have lost two straight, their last win coming against the Raiders.  Speaking of the Raiders, they won their second game last weekend and will be on the road for the final time in 2024.

Prairie Conference


Regina Thunder @ Saskatoon Hilltops – Saturday September 28, 7:00pm -SMF Field | WATCH HERE

This is a game that most always have circled on their calendar as these rivals clash for the second time this season.  On September 7th the Hilltops left Regina with a 29-15 victory and remain undefeated heading into their final home game of the regular season.  Since that loss the Thunder have won two in a row and play their final road game of the campaign.   A Hilltops win and they will clinch the Conference title.

Edmonton Wildcats @ Edmonton Huskies – Saturday September 28, 7:00pm – JP Bowl | WATCH HERE

The battle for Edmonton Episode 2 is set for Saturday night with the Huskies in a dog fight for third place in the standings, currently tied with the Calgary Colts with two games to go.  They beat the Wildcats on August 24th by a 27-8 score.  The Huskies have dropped their last two games and the Wildcats are still looking for their first win.

Ontario Conference 


St. Clair Saints @ Ottawa Sooners – Saturday September 28, 7:00pm – University of Ottawa | WATCH HERE

It’s the lone Saturday game in the Ontario Conference when the juggernaut Saints visit the nation’s capital and the Sooners.  The Saints have been dominant this season allowing only 14 points in their first six games with the defence recording four shutouts.  The Sooners are one of only two teams that have scored a touchdown against the Saints this season but still fell 47-7 two weeks ago.

SUNDAY SEPTEMBER 29


Prairie Conference 


Winnipeg Rifles @ Calgary Colts – Sunday September 29, 1:00pm – Shouldice Park | WATCH HERE

It’s the second half of a home-and-home between these two teams after the Rifles earned an upset win last weekend 23-9.  They used running back Kaiden Banfield to drive the offence with 43 carries and 233 yards in the victory. This is an important game for the Colts trying to inch closer to securing third place in the standings.  Meanwhile the Rifles are trying for two straight wins for the first time this season.

Ontario Conference 


Hamilton Hurricanes @ GTA Grizzlies – Sunday September 29, 1:00pm – Central Peel Secondary | WATCH HERE

A pair of winless teams meet for the only time this season as the Hurricanes visit the Grizzlies.  Both clubs are trying to find some footing and some success before the end of the year.

Avg Points Allowed: Hurricanes 49.3 – Grizzlies 46.3

London Beefeaters @ Quinte Skyhawks – Sunday September 29, 3:00pm – Loyalist College | WATCH HERE

It’s the only game of the season between these two teams when the Beefeaters visit the Skyhawks.  This will be the second straight road game for the Beefeaters after they were dismantled last week at St. Clair.  They are still in the driver seat for second place in the standings but need a win to stay that way.  The Skyhawks are in the postseason and still have a chance to finish higher than fourth place and a win on Sunday would be a massive step towards that.  They have two games left and both are at home.
