It was just another day at the office for the Sun offence led by a balanced attack, and the defence who pitched their second straight shutout and third of the season.
Offensively Elelyon Noa rushed for 125 yards on 12 carries and scored another two touchdowns, he also added two receptions for 27 yards. Both Tristan Peddle and Ethan Bilo each scored a rushing touchdown to add to the production. Quarterback Marek Filipek completed 15 passes for 239 yards and found Jordayne Falconer and Gage Parker for touchdowns.
The defence forced nine turnovers and had five sacks, holding the Broncos to 144 yards of total offence. Ahmed Borhot picked off two passes, Ashton Davidson blocked a punt and Dylan Remillard had 1.5 sacks.
Next week the Sun (6-0) visit the Langley Rams (5-1) in a first-place showdown and the Broncos (1-5) welcome the Valley Huskers (2-3).

VI Raiders 0
The Rams defense dominated on Saturday holding the visiting Raiders to 84 total offensive yards. They also forced three turnovers in the game, all interceptions highlighted by a 61-yard pick-six thanks to CJ Augustine.
On the offensive side the Rams passing attack led the way with quarterback Palaina Hooper completing 12 of 18 passes for 269 yards and two touchdowns. The best coming on a tremendous TD catch by Terrel Jones in the endzone. Kai Rawnsley and Gob Deng also caught touchdowns and Jayden Sak ran in another.
Next week the Rams (5-1) host the Okanagan Sun (6-0) and the Raiders (1-5) welcome the Westshore Rebels (4-1).
