Games span four different provinces this weekend

It’s Week 4 of the CJFL season and two of the three Conferences will see live action this weekend in four different provinces!

SATURDAY AUGUST 10, 2024

BC Conference

Okanagan Sun @ Westshore Rebels – Saturday August 10, 4:00pm, Starlight Stadium | WATCH HERE

It’s a battle for first place in the BC Conference when the Sun meet the Rebels.  The Sun play their third straight road game and the Rebels are coming off a bye week.  

Head-to-Head

Records: Sun 3-0 – Rebels 2-0
Avg Points For: Sun 26.3 – Rebels 44
Avg Points Allowed: Sun 13 – Rebels 26

2023 Meetings:
Saturday August 26, 2023 – Rebels win 52-23 at Westshore
Saturday October 28, 2023 – Rebels win Cullen Cup 33-19

Langley Rams @ VI Raiders – Saturday August 10, 5:30pm, NDSS Field | WATCH HERE

Both teams are coming off their first win of the season.   Can the Rams defence slowdown the Raiders passing attack?

Both teams are coming off a loss last week.  The Huskers are on the road for the first time this season while the Kodiaks are back at home after two straight road games. They are undefeated at home this year (1-0).

Prairie Conference

The defending Canadian Bowl champion Hilltops begin their title defence at home on Sunday afternoon when they host the Huskies.  Both teams have high expectations this season and should be battling for the Conference title near the end of the year.  They face each other in the first and last games of the season.

Two teams that have plenty of history and that are hungry to get back to the post season in 2024 will open their schedules in Winnipeg.  They will meet each other twice in their first three games of the season with the rematch coming to Regina on August 25th.

The first installment of the Battle of Alberta kicks off on Sunday as the Colts welcome the Wildcats in the first of their two seasonal meetings.
