The 2024 edition of Football Canada’s U18 Canada Cup is underway, as eight provincial teams battle for national supremacy.

This year’s tournament is hosted in Regina with the home province of Saskatchewan one of the favourites to win it all.   Technically they are still the defending champions, winning the title in Kelowna in 2022.  Last year the tournament was held in Edmonton, but due to wildfires and poor air quality in the area on the final day, the championship game could not be played.

The CJFL is littered with current players that were once part of a Canada Cup roster including Saskatoon Hilltop receiver Drake Douglas.  He played for Team Sask in 2019 and won a gold medal when the tournament was played in Kingston Ontario.

Douglas shares his experience with Ryan Watters and encourages all the players to make unforgettable memories like he did five years ago.
