The CJFL in conjunction with the BC Conference are pleased to announce the Week 2 Players of the Week.

Offensive Player of the Week
QB Trey Jones – Langley Rams

The Rams offence woke up big time on Saturday afternoon in their home opener to the tune of 554 total yards.  Quarterback Trey Jones was a major factor with arguably his best game under centre, finishing 11 of 12 for 260 yards and threw five touchdown passes.  He also rushed three times for 21 yards.

Defensive Player of the Week
LB Romereo Reid – Okanagan Sun

Speed kills, and Romereo Reid of the Okanagan Sun has plenty of speed which helped him fill up the stats sheet on Saturday night.  He blocked a kick, recovered it and sprinted 28 yards for a touchdown, he intercepted a pass, had three solo tackles and a pair of assisted stops as the Sun cruised to a home opener victory.

Special Teams Player of the Week
LB Demar Hohnstein – Westshore Rebels

Saturday afternoon the Rebels hosted their home opener and didn’t disappoint the crowd dominating in all three facets of the game.  Demar Hohnstein was terrific on Special Teams collecting four solo tackles making an important impact.
