Last season Gerren Hardisty was a nice surprise for the Westshore Rebels as he quickly became a threat on the offensive side and returning kicks.

When their offence was on the field attempting to move the ball, they relied heavily on Hardisty as the featured running back.  He rushed 121 times, which was second most in the BC Conference and tallied 798 yards while scoring a pair of touchdowns.  When called upon the first year Rebel would leak out of the backfield giving his quarterback another option as he caught 18 passes for 141 yards, averaging 7.8 yards a catch.

Showing off his versatile skills Hardisty was also asked to return kick-offs during the season.  He returned 11 kicks in total, averaging over 33 yards a return and tallied 369 yards which were highlighted by two long touchdown returns.

The Rebels, and first year head coach Dexter Janke are very excited to have him back on their roster as Hardisty becomes a member of the CJFL Class of 2023.
