The St. Clair Fratmen will look a little different in 2022 following the graduation of several key pieces from their 2021 team that hosted the Ontario Conference final.
In all, 15 players have graduated and will not be returning this season and leave some big cleats to fill.
QB Michael Beale – he was sensation in 2021 setting a new Fratmen record for passing touchdowns in a single season with 25. He completed 65% passes for 1792 yards and was named an Ontario Conference All-Star
WR Cody Holmes – he is a highly decorated receiver making 30 receptions last year alone for 683 yards and 10 touchdowns
RB Jacob Savoni – he won the Ontario Conference rushing title in 2021 and was named an All-Canadian. He carried the rock 117 times for 924 yards and led the CJFL with 16 rushing touchdowns
OL Kyle Jennings – he was an All-Canadian in 2021 and helped anchor a very big and quick offensive line
K/P Jake Holloway – he was named an Ontario Conference All-Star knocking through 75% of his field goal attempts and averaged 36.9 yards each punt
DL Jordan Krug – he is a former All-Canadian, a two-time Conference All-Star and was a massive part of the Fratmen defence in 2021 collecting 15 tackles and two sacks
RB David Reaume – he carried the ball 21 times last season for 135 yards
WR Marcus Cooper – he was part of a very potent aerial attack
DB Tenoa Alex – he was part of a secondary that didn’t give up much in 2021. Collectively they intercepted 17 passes
RB/DB Nash Prieur – a two-way player that contributed on both sides of the ball last season
DL Matt O’Neil – he was a force on the line for the Fratmen and was part of a very stingy defensive core that gave up the fewest points in the Conference
