The very best from the Prairie Conference in 2021

The Canadian Junior Football League in conjunction with the Prairie Conference is proud to announce the 2021 Conference All-Stars and All-Rookie Team.

There are 10 positional categories and the nation’s top team the Regina Thunder have collected 10 All-Stars selections while the Edmonton Huskies have eight.

The 2021 Prairie Conference All-Stars are:

Offensive Line:
Mason Ochs – Saskatoon Hilltops* (fourth consecutive season)

Carson Lethbridge – Edmonton Huskies*

Riley Schick – Regina Thunder

Logan Hubick – Regina Thunder

Connor Klassen – Regina Thunder

Running Backs:
Alex Gayle – Edmonton Huskies - he won the Prairie Conference rushing title with 149 carries for 927 yards and 12 touchdowns

Nathan Zacharias – Edmonton Wildcats – 94 carries for 549 yards and 3 touchdowns

Receivers:
Rylan Sokul – Regina Thunder* – 38 receptions for 621 yards and 6 touchdowns

Isaac Foord – Regina Thunder (second consecutive season)– 28 receptions for 536 yards and 5 touchdowns

Adner St. Hilaire – Edmonton Huskies – 35 receptions for 609 yards and 3 touchdowns

De Shawn Le Jour – Edmonton Huskies – 26 receptions for 519 yards and 9 touchdowns

Quarterbacks:
Carter Shewchuk – Regina Thunder – 104 of 164 (63%), 1630 yards, 14 touchdowns, 114.6 passer efficiency rating

Declan O’Flaherty – Edmonton Huskies – 138 of 234 (59%), 2115 yards, 19 touchdowns, 110.6 passer efficiency rating

Place Kicker:
Eric Maximuik – Regina Thunder* – 20 of 29 (69%) field goals

Defensive Line:
Josh Lenz – Edmonton Huskies* - 14 tackles,2 assisted tackles, 2 sacks, 1 knockdown

Jaxon Funk – Saskatoon Hilltops – 27 tackles, 12 assisted tackles, 0.5 sacks, two fumble recoveries

Reece McCormick – Regina Thunder – 16 tackles, 4 assisted tackles, 3 sacks

Maurice Dubois – Edmonton Huskies – 32 tackles, 3 assisted tackles, 4 knockdowns, 2 interceptions

Justin Mckerracher – Regina Thunder – 9 tackles, 1 assisted tackle, 5 knockdowns, 1 fumble recovery, 3 interceptions, 3 defensive touchdowns

Yvenson Saintus – Calgary Colts – 8 tackles, 1 blocked kick, 1 knockdown, 2 interceptions

Punter:
Joel Pipke – Calgary Colts – 55 punts, 39.7 average, 3 singles

Return Specialist:
Declan Mullin – Edmonton Wildcats- 13 kick=off returns for 380 and 2 touchdowns, 26 punt returns for 152 yards

The Prairie Conference is preparing for their Conference semi-finals this Sunday.  The #1 Regina Thunder host the #4 Winnipeg Rifles and the #2 Saskatoon Hilltops entertain the #3 Edmonton Huskies.
