Linebacker Emmarae Dale made CJFL history on Sunday as the first woman to ever play in a regular season game when her Saskatoon Hilltops paid a visit to the Edmonton Huskies.

She primarily was used on special teams and she did hit the stats sheet after making a tackle.

It has been a long road for Dale to get to this point after the cancelled 2020 season and the tremendous media blitz she faced leading up to this past Sunday.  Now that the game is over and she’s made history, she has had a chance to reflect on her experience.  She discusses that with Ryan Watters under the CJFL Spotlight.
