Warren Goldie is set to lead this club in 2021

It’s been a very busy week for the Quinte Skyhawks and today they have officially announced their first ever head coach.

Warren Goldie who has nearly three decades of coaching experience has been named the Skyhawks head coach after being involved in most levels of football. He spent nearly a decade at Queen’s University coaching quarterbacks and receivers and three years as the Offensive Coordinator. In the 2000s, the Gaels went from a two-win program to National Champions. More recently, he was at St.FX University as the Offensive Coordinator for a pair of seasons where they won the Conference Championships. Throughout these times, Goldie has coached numerous athletes that went onto professional careers. Part of the last 10 years has included more specific coaching of quarterbacks with his QBMAD program. Starting out as an on-field program focused on mechanics, he has expanded the program to online sessions for a more comprehensive process for readying quarterbacks. The program has recently expanded outside of Canada with new members on both sides of the border and coaches and players in Europe.

Coach Goldie takes some time away from his busy schedule to talk to Ryan Watters about making history as the Skyhawks first head coach.
