For the fourth time in eight seasons the Langley Rams and Saskatoon Hilltops will battle for CJFL supremacy in the 2019 Canadian Bowl.   The game is set for Saturday November 16th at 1:00pm at McLeod Stadium in Langley.

This is also a rematch of last year’s Canadian Bowl held in Saskatoon where the Hilltops won their fifth straight title with a 58-21 victory.   They also beat the Rams in Langley in 2012 and 2014.

This year’s edition will be highlighted by two powerful running teams that feature a rusher with over 1,000 yards.  The Hilltops’ Ben Abrook rushed 199 times for 1215 yards while Andrew Pocrnic of the Rams carried 163 times for 1199 yards  They combined to score 35 touchdowns this past regular season, albeit most of those were from Pocrnic who set a new CJFL single season record with 27 majors.

Both teams are undefeated this year, including playoffs the Rams are 12-0 while the Hilltops 11-0.  Both teams scored over 300 points and have a fast, hard hitting defence.

Book your tickets early for this one as it has all the makings of a classic.  The Hilltops are trying to win their unprecedented sixth straight title while the Rams are trying to break the streak and win their first.
