Offensive Players of the Week

BC Conference
RB Andrew Pocrnic – Langley Rams

The Rams punched their ticket back to the Cullen Cup championship game behind another great run performance from the BC Conference Offensive Player of the Year Andrew Pocrnic.  He carried the ball 24 times for 190 yards and two touchdowns.

Ontario Conference
WR Cody Holmes – Windsor AKO Fratmen

As he has done to the opposition all season long, Cody Holmes torched the London Beefeaters secondary as he hauled in nine passes for 154 yards and one touchdown.

Prairie Conference
RB Ben Abrook – Saskatoon Hilltops

The Hilltops won their sixth straight Prairie title on Sunday behind another dominating run performance from Ben Abrook.  He set a new CJFL playoff record with 44 carries and totaled 246 yards and scored a pair of touchdowns

Defensive Players of the Week

BC Conference
DB Ryan Barthelson – Langley Rams

The Rams defence was superb in their semi-final victory this past weekend and Ryan Barthelson played a major roll with two interceptions, including one returned for a touchdown.  He also tallied a pair of tackles and two knockdowns

Ontario Conference
DL Soren Hallschmid – London Beefeaters

In a game that was decidedly determined in the trenches, the London Beefeaters defensive line out muscled their counterparts and Soren Hallschmid proved to be the biggest bully on the block.  He recorded four tackles on the night but it was his hard-nosed play that helped to carry the day for the road warrior Beefeaters.

Prairie Conference
DB Mitchel Phillips – Edmonton Huskies

Despite their playoff loss Mitchel Phillips left everything on the field making six solo tackles, two assisted stops, forced a fumble and intercepted a pass

Special Teams Players of the Week

BC Conference
R Maren Bradbrook – VI Raiders

One of the reasons the Raiders kept their playoff game close was the field possession that returner Maren Bradbrook gave them.  He returned 10 punts for 134 yards and six kick-off returns 130 yards.

Ontario Conference
DB Codey McRoberts – London Beefeaters

With the score tied, Codey McRoberts stepped up in a huge way as he not only blocked a Windsor punt but scooped it up and scampered 33 yards for the go ahead touchdown.  It was a lead that London would not relinquish in shocking the top ranked Fratmen in the Ontario Conference final.  He also racked up two key special teams tackles and intercepted a pass that he returned for 22 yards.

Prairie Conference
K Rylan Kleiter – Saskatoon Hilltops

The Hilltops kicker Rylan Kleiter continued his hot play in the Prairie Conference final connecting on all three field goal attempts and three converts, scoring 12 of their 30 points
