Offensive Player of the Week
WR Khalik Johnson – Langley Rams

He made his return to the Rams line-up an extremely loud one making his first catch in the CJFL since the 2017 BC Conference semi-final.  However Khalik Johnson didn’t just stop with one catch on Saturday.  In all he hauled in seven receptions for a game high 122 yards and three touchdowns guiding the Cullen Cup champs to a Week 1 victory.

Defensive Player of the Week
DB Desmond Jeanson – Valley Huskers

Despite a Huskers loss on Saturday Desmond Jeanson played a major role in keeping them close all day. He compiled four tackles, had a knockdown and was the only player in the CJFL to make two interceptions during Week 1.

Special Teams Player of the Week
K Ethan Homan – Valley Huskers

Ethan Homan kept the Huskers in the game on Saturday afternoon with his leg.  He connected on both field goal attempts from 32 and 37 yards out, he was a perfect 2-2 in converts and was key in flipping the field position in kicks.  He compiled six punts for an average of 38.5 yards and five kick-offs averaging 46 yards.
