The CFL will hold its National Combine beginning on Friday in Toronto.  The CJFL will have at least five players at the three day event and potentially more.

The Ontario Regional Combine is scheduled for today with six former CJFL players participating.  Jesse Amankwaa who played for the Okanagan Sun last season was been tagged for a “player to watch” and it is expected he will be invited to the National Combine the next day.  The other five competing on Thursday are: Brett Hanchak (Colts), Brandon Ihanza (Sun, Rebels), Williams Omiti (Grizzlies), Hakeem Johnson (Beefeaters) and Brendan Hepburn (Beefeaters).

The five former CJFL players that have already punched their ticket to the National Combine are:  Jamel Lyles (Rebels), Jon Harke (Wildcats), Zack Williams (Rifles), Shai Ross (Sun) and Tariq LaChance (Rifles, Colts).

The CFL broke down each event at the National Combine and their importance to the players overall performance:
