CJFL @ CFL Regional Combines

33 players with CJFL experience will be attending

The CJFL will be very well represented next week at the three CFL Regional Combines along with the National event in Toronto.  A total of 33 players with CJFL experience will take part beginning in Edmonton on Monday.

The Regional Combines allow players to show their skills at various testing stations like the 40-yard dash, the short shuttle, three-cone drill and bench press.  Players attending these three events are hoping to win an invitation to the National Combine which is a three day event from March 22-24 and features the top prospects eligible for the 2019 CFL Draft on May 2nd.

The first Regional Combine is the Western date on Monday in Edmonton and will highlight 20 players with CJFL experience.  They are:

Shai Ross – Okanagan Sun
Colton Balicki – Edmonton Huskies
Troy Hansen – Edmonton Huskies
Brandt Kolybaba – Edmonton Huskies
Andrew MacLean – Edmonton Huskies
Charles Nwoye – Langley Rams
John Beckerleg - Langley Rams
Tristen Dyce – Regina Thunder
Kyle Siemans - Regina Thunder
Chad Teskey - Regina Thunder
Brad Mikoluff – Winnipeg Rifles
Tariq LaChance – Winnipeg Rifles/Calgary Colts
Dylan Schrot – VI Raiders/Calgary Colts
Ty Hering – Saskatoon Hilltops
Cole Benkic - Saskatoon Hilltops
Cody Peters - Saskatoon Hilltops
Kemal Kochisarli –Edmonton Wildcats
Reid McMorris - Valley Huskers

Following the Western Combine, Montreal will host the Eastern Regional Combine on Wednesday with four players with CJFL experience attending.   They are:

Jeremy Fagnan – Edmonton Wildcats
Jimmy Cunningham – London Beefeaters
Lerone Robinson – Okanagan Sun
Dylan Tucker – Langley Rams

The final Regional Combine is set for Thursday March 21st in Toronto.  There will be six players with CJFL experience in attendance.  They are:

Brett Hunchak – Calgary Colts
Brandon Ihanza – Okanagan Sun/Westshore Rebels
Jesse Amankwaa – Okanagan Sun
Williams Omiti – GTA Grizzlies
Hakeen Johnson – London Beefeaters
Brendan Hepburn - London Beefeaters

Following the three Regional Combines the National event will take place and already three players with CJFL experience have been invited.  They are:

Jon Harke – Edmonton Wildcats
Jamel Lyles – Westshore Rebels
Zack Williams – Winnipeg Rifles

Good luck to these 31 players as they hope to catch the eye of a CFL team on May 2nd and join the other 21 players with CJFL experience already in the Canadian Football League.
