The Windsor AKO Fratmen will host the Hamilton Hurricanes this coming weekend in the Ontario Conference championship game for the right to host the 110th Canadian Bowl.  They each won their semi-final on Saturday in a lopsided decision.

Through the air Reaume completed 17 passes for 261 yards and threw three touchdown passes to Devon Woods.  In all Woods hauled in a game high six passes for 102 yards.

Defensively the Fratmen held the Sooners to 159 yards through the air as Offensive Player of the Year Malcolm Carter was a non-factor covered all night making just two catches for 16 yards.  The “D” got on the scoresheet as well thanks to a 40 yard pick six by Elijah Blythe.  Spencer Trinier also had an interception.  Defensive Player of the Year Adam Slikboer collected a game high five tackles.

#3 London Beefeaters 7

The Hurricanes used a balanced attack in their lone meeting of the season with the Beefeaters recording 257 yards through the air and 163 on the ground.

Quarterback Jake Marquette had an outstanding game completing 16 of 20 and threw four touchdown passes.  Both Trea Ivey and Angus Button caught two majors apiece.  Ivey led all receivers with 107 yards on six catches.  Marquette also added a touchdown on the ground.

David Adeniran had a game high 11 carries and 76 yards, while Brandon Bettencourt scored a 28 yard rushing touchdown.

Beefeaters’ quarterback Clarke McCallum made his first playoff start completing 13 passes for 179 yards and threw a 66 yard touchdown to Quinn Johnson.

Next weekend when the Fratmen host the Hurricanes in the Conference final, it will mark the second consecutive season and third time in four years they square off for Ontario supremacy.  Kick off is set for 1:00pm on Sunday at Alumni Field in Windsor.
