Windsor AKO Fratmen 40
Ottawa Sooners 23

The Fratmen ran their record to 3-1 with their third straight victory executing a well balanced attack gaining 141 yards on the ground and 87 through the air.  Quarterback Brandon Reaume again was stellar with seven completions for 187 yards and threw a touchdown pass to Devon Woods.  It was Reaume’s legs however that did the most damage racing nine times for 54 yards and three touchdowns.

Defensively the Fratmen confused the Sooners the majority of the night.  Jacob Benson had 2.5 sacks and Spencer Trinier had a pair of interceptions.

The Sooners were without starting quarterback Tyler Scott but Evan Yourth stepped up very nicely.  He was 13 of 15 for 177 yards and threw three touchdowns.  Malcolm Carter, Dylan Kazda and Enzo Trunzo each hauled in a major.

The Fratmen (3-1) will travel to London for a date with the Beefeaters (3-0) on Saturday night.  The Sooners (0-4) on the other hand will travel to Toronto to face the GTA Grizzlies (0-3) on Sunday.

London Beefeaters 33
Niagara Regional Raiders 30

It was a heck of a finish as the Beefeaters scored in the late stages of the contest to keep their undefeated record alive.

Quarterback Clarke McCallum finished 14 of 21 for 254 yards and threw a pair of touchdown passes, one each to Hayden Amis and Kennedy Magee.  McCallum scored a touchdown on the ground on the strength of eight carries and 43 yards.

One of the bright spots on the defensive side was Oscar Reddecop who collected two sacks.

The Raiders easily played their best game of the season with quarterback Bryson Mitchell leading the offence with 17 completions for 250 yards and threw three majors.    Two touchdowns were caught by Kale Rive who made seven receptions in total for 105 yards.  John Peele hauled in the other TD.

The defence gave the Beefeaters all they could handle as they recorded three sacks.

The Beefeaters (3-0) will host the Windsor AKO Fratmen (3-1) in a first place showdown on Saturday night while the Raiders (0-3) welcome the Hamilton Hurricanes (2-1) on Sunday.

Hamilton Hurricanes 21
GTA Grizzlies 0

Fittingly there was a very strong wind in Hamilton on Monday which effected the Labour Day Classic between the Hurricanes and GTA Grizzlies.  As a matter of fact the teams combined for 124 yards of passing due to the windy conditions.

On the ground the Hurricanes collected 224 yards, led by David Adeniran who rushed 18 times for 148 yards and a touchdown.
Defensively the Canes got on the board when Tyler Kelly picked up a fumble and rumbled 25 yards for a major.    As a unit they held the Grizzlies to just 54 yards on the ground and tallied four sacks.

This coming Sunday the Hurricanes (2-1) travel to Niagara to face the Regional Raiders (0-3) while the Grizzlies (0-3) are at home to the Ottawa Sooners (0-4).
