The Fratmen and Beefeaters claim a "W"

A pair of lopsided wins in the Ontario Conference courtesy of the Windsor Fratmen and the London Beefeaters, each collecting their second win of the season

Saturday afternoon the Fratmen looked like a team on a mission dismantling the Grizzlies to the tune of 545 total offensive yards while giving up just 26 yards.

On the ground they used eight different ball carriers for 293 yards and four touchdowns, two of which were scored by quarterback Brandon Reaume.  D’Angelo Knox carried the rock 12 times for a game high 163 yards and scored what turned out to be the game winning touchdown early in the first quarter.

Through the air Reaume was 11 of 17 for 277 yards and threw two touchdown passes.  Devon Wood was his favourite target hauling in five passes for 137 yards and a score.

On the defensive side the Fratmen forced six turnovers and collected two sacks.  They held the Grizzlies to 26 offensive net yards.

The only points the Grizzlies would score was a 26 yard field goal from Campbell Fair.

The Fratmen (2-1) will play their first road game next week at the Ottawa Sooners (0-3) while the Grizzlies (0-2) will look for answers next weekend in Hamilton against the Hurricanes (1-1) on Sunday afternoon part of Football Day in Hamilton.

It was all Beefeaters on Saturday night as they erupted for 21 points in the second quarter on route to their second straight win.

Quarterback Clarke McCallum was 15 of 22 for 236 yards and threw four touchdown passes, two of which were caught by Noah Olynyk.  Kennedy Magee and Mark Devlin caught the others.
McCallum also used his feet scoring two more touchdowns on four carries.

His counterpart for the Raiders Bryson Mitchell finished 11 of 34 for 136 yards despite being flushed out of the pocket for the majority of the night.  John Peele caught three passes for 64 yards.

These two teams will play the second half of a home and home this upcoming weekend.  For the Beefeaters (2-0) it will be their second road game, while the Raiders (0-2) will play at home for the first time.
