What a day for the Raiders who raise their record to 3-1 after dominating the Broncos at Caledonia Park.  Returner Brycen Mayoh was simply outstanding tying a CJFL record with a 129 yard missed field goal return for a touchdown.  He also returned a punt 68 yards for a major, then had a second missed field goal return for a touchdown called back.  On the offence side he caught four passes for 110 yards another touchdown.   In all Mayoh tallied 402 all-purpose yards, which is fifth all-time in CJFL history.

Not to be outdone defensive lineman Quinton Bowles tied a CJFL record with five sacks.  Incredibly the Raiders recorded 10 sacks in the ball game.  Brody Taylor had three of them to compliment Bowles.

The lone Broncos touchdown came from their special teams as reigning Conference Special Teams Player of the Week Max Joseph returned a punt for the score.

The Raiders (3-1) now prepare for a huge game on Saturday afternoon when they face the Okanagan Sun (4-0), while the Broncos (1-3) host the Langley Rams (1-3).

The Rebels defence received full marks on the weekend completely shutting down the Rams offence allowing just 52 yards on the ground and 178 in total.  They would also force seven turnovers.

The offence saw the return of running back Trey Campbell from injury and he was a one-man wrecking crew.  On the ground he rushed 16 times for 150 yards and scored a pair of touchdowns, then caught five passes for 115 yards and had another touchdown.  His 21 touches, 265 all-purpose yards and three touchdowns makes a strong case for the Player of the Week.

Next weekend the Rebels (3-1) will host the Valley Huskers (0-4) on Saturday afternoon while the Rams (1-3) will look to turn things around in Kamloops that evening against the Broncos (1-3).
