The CJFL Game of the Week features one of the best rivalries in all of junior football when the 1-0 VI Raiders host the 0-1 Westshore Rebels at 2:00pm on Saturday.

The Raiders are coming off a very solid road win in Langley, while the Rebels will have something more to prove after falling in their opener last weekend.

The Rebels have never won at Caledonia Park but a year ago they came close playing to a 25-25 tie.  In the other two meetings of the season the Rebels won both including a playoff game in Westshore.

Ryan Watters talks with Raiders head coach Doug Hocking, who maybe the only coach/player ever to suit up for both teams.  He was a coach with the Rebels in 2015 and before becoming the head coach with the Raiders this year he was the defensive coordinator during their championship seasons.  Watters also talks with quarterback Jacob Laberge, Rebels head coach Charly Cardilicchia and reigning Offensive Player of the Week D’Saun Greenaway.

Kick-off between the Raiders and Rebels is set for 2:00pm on Saturday in Nanaimo.
