Offensive Player of the Week
D’Saun Greenaway – Westshore Rebels

The defending BC Conference champion Rebels showed they are no longer a run first team on Saturday night with 41 pass attempts. One of the “big” reasons why they will pass this year is 6’6, 205 pound receiver D’Saun Greenaway.  In their Week 1 loss the Ontario native caught seven passes for 114 yards and scored the first touchdown of the season.  He’s named the CJFL Offensive Player of the Week.

Defensive Player of the Week
Tye Kitzman – Okanagan Sun

He “picked” the perfect time to get his first interception of the season.   The CJFL Defensive Player of the Week Tye Kitzman ended Saturday night’s Cullen Cup rematch with an interception as the Westshore Rebels were trying to extend the game.  The pick was the icing on the cake for the third year defensive back as he also had five tackles, an assisted stop and a knockdown.

Special Teams Player of the Week
Brycen Mayoh – VI Raiders

When the Raiders needed a special teams spark, Mayoh answered the bell.  He only had two kick-off returns on Saturday, but he made them count.  He averaged 73 yards a return including one kick-off 94 yards to set up his offence.  He is named the CJFL Special Teams Player of the Week.
