They were the most dangerous fourth seed team entering the CJFL playoffs last season and almost came up with an incredible upset.

The VI Raiders were two minutes away from knocking off the eventual champion Westshore Rebels last season in a semi-final.  The loss was bitter sweet as it sets up some high expectations for the 2017 campaign.

Quarterback Jacob Laberge enters his sophomore season and should be the focal point of the offence.  Over on the defence they will be solid led by veterans Dexter Shea and Josh Paisley.
