The Edmonton Wildcats will open their Main Camp on Monday

The Edmonton Wildcats believe now is the time to turn things around.  Coming off a winless 2016 campaign along with winning just once in 2015 the Wildcats needed to shake things up coming into this season and they did exactly that.

Head Coach Darcy Park remains, however a number of his positional coaches are brand new and are alumni that have stepped up to say enough is enough.

The Wildcats haven’t enjoyed a winning season since 2012 and a playoff spot since 2013, with a losing record.

Despite their struggles as of late, there are high hopes and renewed excitement for the Wildcats now that their players are moving into their third, fourth and fifth seasons.  These players will also have the opportunity to play in their first ever CJFL Interconference Game when the Wildcats host the defending Ontario Conference champions, the Hamilton Hurricanes on September 23rd.

They will open their Main Camp on Monday, then the season on the road in Calgary on Saturday August 12.  Coach Park speaks with Ryan Watters about the “changing of the winds” in Edmonton.
