One of the most potent pieces of the Langley Rams defence over the last few years has been their defensive line.    They have been swarming, fierce and a major issue for the opposing offences with the likes of Evan Foster, Shaiheem Charles-Brown, Alex Agnoletto and Brock Gowanlock.

With the departure of Charles-Brown, an All-Canadian a season ago, the Rams torch has now been passed to Adam Marchetti.

Last season the Duncan BC native was among the BC Conference leaders with 4.5 sacks to compliment his 22 tackles and forced fumble.    Now that he enters his fourth season the Rams are looking for even more.

Marchetti has the luxury of having the depth around him as well.  Teams can ill afford to double team him with the likes of Sonu Kainth and Demarius Henderson also rushing the passer.   With these other talented players around him, Marchetti can display his dominating skills facing an offensive lineman one on one.

This offseason the Cowichan Bulldogs graduate has added muscle to his already 6’1, 240 pound frame and will be a handful when the Rams season opens July 29th at home when they face the VI Raiders.
