Erich Eichhorn collected 17% of the vote

Thank you to the fans who took time to vote for the CJFL Fans Choice Photo of the Year.  722 votes were cast and a winner has been chosen, taking 17% of the votes.

Erich Eichhorn captured Westshore Rebels running back Trey Campbell leaping over the Kamloops Broncos defence in a true display of athleticism and grace winning the CJFL Fans Choice Photo of the Year.

About Erich:

Erich is born and raised in Victoria and is an assistant service manager at a Ford dealer and an instructor for both a local and national Karate organization.  The 50 year old took on sports photography for Independent Sports News (ISN) eight years ago when wildlife and landscape photography became too slow. He was given the opportunity to shoot professionally for ISN, then started his own photography company, Allsportmedia.ca soon after. He is still currently shooting for ISN and has taken on shooting assignments covering the CJFL, BC Rugby Union, Western Hockey League, West Coast Baseball League, BC Lions, Rugby Canada and numerous community sports teams in Victoria and on Vancouver Island.

He's never afraid to try something new and always enjoys looking for different types of sports to stretch his photography skills.

Below is the CJFL Fans Choice Photo of the Year along with other examples of Erich's work.  Congratulations Erich Eichhorn, keep up the great working covering the CJFL!
