Head Coach Brad Yamaoka returns to Kamloops in third year

The Kamloops Broncos announced on Wednesday that head coach Brad Yamaoka will return to the club for at least the next two seasons.

In his first two years with the Broncos the former BC Lion/Winnipeg Blue Bomber is 7-13 during the regular season and 0-1 in the playoffs.

Yamaoka has worked intensely in developing young football players in both minor and high school programs in the Okanagan.   He is a tireless recruiter and has turned the Broncos into a highly competitive program.

He will begin his third year as the Broncos head coach in July when the new CJFL season kicks off.

The Broncos have also given a three year extension to General Manager Jan Antons who has worked tirelessly in developing the Broncos as a competitive and thriving football club in the BC Conference.  He is also very active in the local sports scene.
