Calgary Colts head coach Matt Blokker reaches the 100 win plateau

He is one of the best in the business and now he becomes part of the 100 win club.

Matt “Snoop” Blokker recorded regular season win #100 last weekend when his Calgary Colts beat the visiting Regina Thunder.  Since becoming the coach of the Colts in 2014, Blokker has tallied 12 regular season victories in 18 regular season games.

Before becoming the Colts head coach Blokker built a BCFC dynasty with the VI Raiders in Nanaimo.  He became the all-time winningest BCFC coach in 2013, his final season on Vancouver Island.

As the head coach of the Raiders and Victoria Rebels in the BCFC he combined to win 88 regular season games.

Coach Snoop is a master motivator and has an excellent football mind.  He is able to bring players together very quickly to perform on the field.  In his first year at the Colts helm, he turned around a 0-8 team and led them to the PFC title game the following year.

Now in his third year as the head coach in Calgary, Coach Snoop has his team at 2-0 and will lead his troops back into Saskatoon this Sunday afternoon, a field where his season has come to an end in the previous two years.

The CJFL congratulates Matt Snoop Blokker in reaching the 100 regular season win plateau.
